Neurodivergent resources

Neurodivergence describes the many natural ways that human minds and bodies process the world. It can include Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, Dyspraxia, Tourette’s, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy, and other neurological variations that shape perception, communication, movement, and energy. The word neurodivergent invites us to see difference rather than deficit — to recognise that there is no single “normal” way to be human.

Resources

The resources below reflect affirming perspectives on neurodivergence as a way of being to understand and honour, not something to fix. They include books, articles, podcasts, and community projects that explore the richness, creativity, and diversity of neurodivergent life.

Neurodivergent Insights

Created by Dr Megan Anna Neff, a neurodivergent psychologist (Autistic‑ADHD) and educator, this site offers mental‑health and wellness resources “with the neurodivergent person in mind.”
Why it’s useful: Provides grounded, clinically informed insights and self‑paced workbooks designed specifically for neurodivergent adults.

Neuroqueer Perspectives

The term neuroqueer emerged from the work of Dr. Nick Walker and other thinkers at the intersection of neurodiversity and queerness. It explores how both identities can challenge social norms and how living authentically — outside of rigid expectations — can be a form of resistance and creativity. This section gathers a few starting points for thinking, feeling, and expressing through a neuroqueer lens.
