Request for Contributions

We are inviting contributors to a book aimed at therapists, supervisors and trainers about neurodivergence - both their own and that of their clients, supervisees and trainees. We aim at including as many voices as possible.

We’d love it if you would be able to write something brief about your experience as a client, therapist, supervisee, supervisor, trainee or trainer. This can be a specific example of something that happened, or a broader overview. We are interested in experiences which are specifically related to your neurotype, and any intersections with other aspects of yourself.

There is really no right or wrong way to write this, the idea is just to share your experience. You can write more than one contribution if you have multiple experiences that are relevant. Please can you say which section your writing is for, and identify your own neurotype or say if you are unsure, self identification is absolutely valid with us. The book is primarily written from a gestalt perspective, but experiences with other theoretical approaches are also welcome.

Optional Prompts/Questions to answer

What about your experience was welcoming, accepting or validating of your ways of being as a ND person, or the opposite?

Anonymity and confidentiality

Editing process
Any edits we think might help will be agreed with you. Nothing would be changed without your permission so anything you write would be included exactly as you wrote it unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
